Reporting to the financial controller, This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment.
You will be responsible for and assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Support financial reporting objectives, including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, journal postings, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reporting packs.
- Create and distribute reports to support period-end and business-wide reporting.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure reporting.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial processes.
- Assist with bank payment processing in coordination with AP/AR.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial tasks and cross-departmental support.
Your skills and background
- ATI Qualified or Part Qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA Accreditation or QBE
- Experience working a busy finance department
- Experience in Microsoft Applications
