I'm working with one of Northern Ireland's most reputable brands who are looking to recruit to their experienced finance team a finance analyst. The successful candidate will receive in house training to grow and develop their skills.
About the Job
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:
- Reconciliation of rebate earnings, accruals and receipts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across multiple data sources.
- Maintain accurate rebate documentation and reporting records.
- Analyse rebate performance, trends and variances, highlighting key findings.
- Maintain and validate rebate data, ensuring accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and system efficiency.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support operational and commercial decision making.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by the wider finance team.
Previous experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a clear ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.).
- Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or Trainee/Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
