About the company
A long established business based in the Maghera area are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their team, on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with full-time or part time options available. The successful candidate will be overseeing a small team, reporting to and working closely with the MD. Open to qualified or qualified by experience accountants, with a background in industry or practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of budgets/forecasts
- Liaise with external stakeholders
- Statutory returns
- Payroll
- Overseeing a small team
- Cashflow management
- Implementing process improvements across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
