About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:

  • Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank and cash allocations
  • Supplier payment runs
  • Liaising with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Month-end procedures
  • Monthly intrastat returns
  • Prepare a weekly cashflow forecast
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts

Essential Criteria

  • 2+ years previous credit control experience working in a finance department or similar would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of dealing with a large customer base
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Possess problem solving skills, and using these skills when decision making
  • Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word and Outlook
