An great opportunity has developed with an established NI family business looking for a Part Qualified Accountant/Accounts Manager to join their established business based in Campsie.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records using QuickBooks
- Produce timely financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision making
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all accounts
- Lead month end and year end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage end to end accounts payable and receivable functions
- Oversee purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
- Manage credit control, including sales ledger maintenance, invoice generation, and payment allocation
- Prepare and submit VAT and EC sales returns in compliance with HMRC requirements
- Develop and enhance financial and administrative processes to improve efficiency and compliance
Your skills & experience:
- Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function.
- Experience using QuickBooks (Desirable)
- ATI Qualified or QBE
