Are you looking for your next move as an Accounts Technician/ Part Qualified Accountant? I am working with a leading company based in Derry City who are looking to recruit to their experienced finance team.
About the Job
Reporting to the Senior Company Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:
- Maintaining a computerised accounting system for a number of group companies
- Processing and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Completing intercompany account reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs and supplier queries
- Support with preparing management accounts and year-end accounts
- Preparing project costings
- Undertaking general administrative and accounts support tasks as required
Previous experience:
- Previous experience working in a busy office environment
- Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Experience Using Sage - Desirable
- Microsoft Excel
