About the company

Due to continued growth, a long established business in the Northwest are seeking a Company Accountant to join their existing finance team. Ideal opportunity for a Qualified Accountant from practice or industry, who is seeking an exciting new opportunity that will offer a varied workload, as well as excellent opportunities for continued career progression.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparing year-end financial statements
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Preparation and filing of statutory returns
  • Cashflow management
  • Process improvement
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience accountant
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
