An great opportunity has developed with an established NI family business looking for a Part Qualified Accountant/Accounts Manager to join their established business based in Campsie.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date financial records using QuickBooks
  • Produce timely financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision making
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all accounts
  • Lead month end and year end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Manage end to end accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Oversee purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
  • Manage credit control, including sales ledger maintenance, invoice generation, and payment allocation
  • Prepare and submit VAT and EC sales returns in compliance with HMRC requirements
  • Develop and enhance financial and administrative processes to improve efficiency and compliance

Your skills & experience:

  • Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function.
  • Experience using QuickBooks (Desirable)
  • ATI Qualified or QBE
