About the Job
Working closely with the Head of Corporate Tax, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Advising UK and international clients on structuring their affairs tax efficiently
- Managing and developing key client relationships to become a trusted adviser
- Leading on a range of advisory projects including reorganisations, demergers, acquisitions and business sales
- Working alongside international colleagues across the Kreston network
- Supporting the delivery of corporate tax compliance services across a varied portfolio
- Reviewing complex corporation tax returns and computations
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of approximately five tax professionals
Previous Experience
- CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong Corporate Tax experience
- Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and international tax matters
- Experience advising corporate clients on tax planning and advisory projects
- Exposure to international tax issues such as transfer pricing, permanent establishments, withholding taxes and CFCs
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and identify opportunities
- Experience mentoring, developing and managing junior staff
- Excellent communication, technical and stakeholder management skills
