About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger officer to join the busy and expanding finance team. This role would suit a motivated individual with a positive, can do attitude, strong attention to detail and a commercial approach to their work. The successful candidate will report directly to Senior Management and will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing supplier accounts, including processing purchase invoices, arranging supplier payments, reconciling accounts and responding to supplier queries
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Providing administrative support to operational staff and management
  • Answering telephone calls within the finance office
  • Undertaking general finance office duties as required

Your skills & experience:

  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger invoicing
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative, energy and a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
