I am working with a global organisation to recruit a Credit Control Lead to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of collections, customer accounts, and dispute resolution while providing guidance and support to a small team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, Collections, or Accounts Receivable
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience managing customer accounts and resolving payment queries
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring others would be advantageous
  • A finance qualification or shared services experience would be beneficial but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts and proactively chase outstanding payments
  • Conduct credit checks and assess customer creditworthiness
  • Resolve customer queries and invoice disputes to ensure timely payment
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and monitor overdue accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer records and collection activity
  • Prepare reports and monitor collections performance against targets
  • Support and coach team members on credit control processes and best practice
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial procedures
  • Assist with continuous improvement across the credit and collections function
