I am working with a well-established manufacturing organisation on their Accounts Assistant position. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting transactional finance, sales and purchase ledger activities, and wider office operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a transactional finance or finance administration role
  • Strong experience across sales ledger and purchase ledger duties
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • AAT/IATI/ATI qualification or strong accounts technician-level experience is desirable
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, or stock-based environments is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders and raise customer invoices
  • Manage purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Support basic credit control activities and resolve account queries
  • Handle stock and delivery documentation accurately
  • Work with detailed product coding and internal systems
  • Support general finance and administrative duties across the office
  • Assist with ad hoc operational and transactional finance tasks as required
