Support the delivery of statutory and indirect tax reporting requirements, ensuring robust controls are in place.
Assess existing financial reporting processes, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent ways of working.
Work closely with finance and operational teams to embed new processes and strengthen internal controls.
Provide recommendations to improve reporting, governance and compliance across the finance function.
Support process improvement projects, ensuring effective handover and documentation on completion.
Contribute to wider finance transformation initiatives as required.
About you: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
Strong background in finance, tax, VAT, or financial compliance within a commercial environment.
Experience improving finance processes, controls, and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. xehkeey
