About the company
A successful and growing manufacturing business in Mid-Ulster are seeking an FP&A Accountant to join their existing finance team. This newly created role will involve working on some exciting projects, and the successful candidate will play a key part in strategic planning and working with various departments across the business. Hybrid working and part-time hours are available.
Key responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis on new business opportunities
- Providing in-depth profitability analysis
- Prepare detailed monthly reporting and commentary on performance targets
- Development of new reporting tools to understand business performance
- Assist the finance team to facilitate workload where required
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified with experience in a similar role
- Experience of working in a manufacturing business
- Strong IT skills
- Analytical mindset
