About the company:

HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, leading business who make a real difference in the local community as they hire for a Financial Accountant with this newly created position. You will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, making it an excellent role to strengthen your CV and broaden your skillset, reporting to the senior finance team.

About the job:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance reviews.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit processes.
  • Support cashflow management, payroll and day-to-day finance operations.
  • Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities and maintain strong financial controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function.

About you:

  • Qualified Accountant- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or soon to be qualified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively
