This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager while maintaining finance processes and assisting with wider administrative functions.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate participant allowances
- Process invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments
- Maintain financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Process and set up online bank payments in line with the agreed payment calendar
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Experience providing administrative support within a finance function
- IT proficient and competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with Sage 50 Accounts
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Understanding of funding compliance and reporting
