HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, SME business with a presence in both the North and South of Ireland as they recruit a Head of Finance as they enter this next phase of growth. This role is ideally suited to a hands-on senior finance professional seeking part-time hours. The working pattern is flexible, with hours negotiable and able to be spread across five days.
About the job:
- Lead the finance function, providing strategic and commercial financial leadership.
- Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
- Partner with Directors to support business planning and decision-making.
- Drive profitability analysis, financial controls, compliance and risk management.
- Improve finance systems, reporting processes and operational efficiency.
- Oversee finance administration and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage relationships with external advisers, banks, insurers and key stakeholders.
About you:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in Senior Finance position
- Commercially focused with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls.
