An great opportunity has developed in a growing local business for an Accounts Administrator/Accounts Payable candidate to join an established finance department. This is a super opportunity for an ambitious finance candidate to gain further experience and develop their career further.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:
- Process supplier invoices accurately using 3-way matching procedures
- Support month-end Accounts Payable close within agreed deadlines
- Manage the accounts inbox and resolve invoice, PO, contract, and VAT discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve queries promptly
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring accurate bank and VAT validation
- Provide administrative support, including timesheet processing, reporting, and ad hoc finance tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting/admin role
- The ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- PowerBI (Desirable)
