About the company

A long-standing organisation in the Northwest are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting to the Head of Finance and overseeing a small team of staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in day-to-day management of this busy finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with 3+ years industry experience who is seeking a rewarding and varied senior finance position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and analysis of management accounts
  • Managing and developing a small finance team
  • Year-end accounting and liaising with auditors
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Tax compliance
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years post-qualified experience
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
