About the Job
Working as part of a busy and supportive team, the successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support while assisting with the company’s sales ledger and finance processes. This is not purely an administration position. The role offers practical exposure to sales ledger and accounts administration, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career within finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support across the business
- Assisting with sales ledger processes
- Raising and processing customer invoices
- Maintaining accurate customer and financial records
- Updating internal systems and spreadsheets
- Responding to customer and internal account queries
- Supporting the allocation and recording of customer payments
- Assisting with account reconciliations
- Liaising with operational teams regarding invoicing information
- Preparing documentation and reports when required
- Supporting the wider finance and administration team
- Completing additional duties as required within a growing business
Previous Experience
- Previous experience within an administration, sales ledger or finance support role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident working with numbers and financial information
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Previous experience using accounting or ERP software would be desirable
- An interest in developing a career within finance or accounts
