HireIQ are delighted to be working with a long standing client as they hire for an Indirect Tax accountant. Our client is an industry leading business and you will be based in the Craigavon area. Now is a great time to join their team as they look to further add to their finance function. This is an ideal role for someone who is Newly Qualified or 1-3 years post qualified & keen to take their step up in their career!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit periodic financial and tax reporting, including statutory filings and submissions to relevant authorities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including balance sheet reconciliations and tax postings.
- Assist with corporation tax computations, instalment payments, and compliance obligations.
- Ensure consistency of accounting policies and controls.
- Collaborate on cross‑functional projects, providing financial and tax expertise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes, leveraging ERP and IT skills.
- Support and coach junior team members, fostering collaboration and best practice.
Requirements
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA with 2 years post qualification experience, or qualified by experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who can work collaboratively.
