About the company:
HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to strengthen their finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of a busy finance team. This role is well suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to build strong experience and gain exposure in a fast-moving finance environment.
About the job:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
- Ownership of the general ledger and month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Monthly stock reporting and overhead review
- Production of monthly sales reports across multiple market segments
- Preparation of UK and Irish VAT returns
- Support with year-end audit preparation (trading and pension entities)
- Involvement in payroll processing and statutory/statistical returns
- Oversight and support of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
- Ad hoc reporting and finance projects as required
Your Skills:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Ideal role for a Newly Qualified/Recently Qualified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who can work collaboratively
