About the Job
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of a busy finance team. This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a dynamic finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports as required.
- Maintain the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month-end.
- Prepare and execute the month-end payment run.
- Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and related work.
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Review and manage month-end overheads.
- Prepare VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for the year-end audit.
Your Skills and Background
- Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or IATI or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel skills to ensure analysis of data
