An great opportunity has developed in a global FMCG business for an aspiring accountant to join an established finance department. This role will allow for further development and career progression for the right candidate into a qualified accountant position.
About the Role
The successful candidate will report to the Wider Accounting Team and will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:
- Support month end close including journals and reconciliations
- Analyse financial data and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare management reports and KPI analysis
- Manage intercompany recharges and GRNI balances
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement within finance
Essential Criteria
- Third Level Finance/ Business Qualification (Desirable)
- Studying (or planning to) ACCA or CIMA Qualification (Study Support will be provided)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word and Outlook (Experience with Excel Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
