About the Job

Reporting to the Company Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:

  • Matching purchase orders
  • Processing purchase invoices and monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Reconcile company bank accounts in various currencies
  • Assist with preparation of accounts
  • Reconciliation of intercompany balances
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales
  • Assist with maintaining schedules during preparation of quarterly accounts

Previous experience:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
