About the company:

HireIQ is excited to be exclusively partnering with one of our long-standing clients as they grow their Corporate tax team. Our client is a highly respected practice firm, and this position will be based in the Belfast office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified accountant with experience working in Corporate Tax, who is ready to take the next step in their career, taking more ownership and responsibility, working closely with the Senior management team.

About the job:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation and filing deadlines.
  • Provide technical advice on corporate tax matters and support clients with tax-related queries.
  • Research changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients, identifying planning opportunities where appropriate.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other relevant stakeholders to resolve tax matters efficiently.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax compliance services.

About you:

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, with experience in corporate tax.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax and associated compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident presenting technical information clearly and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
