About the job

Reporting to the Company Accountant, you will be part of a busy Finance team. This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment. Full training will be provided to the right candidate along with study support and further progression plans set in place for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties:

  • Support the preparation of monthly Management Accounts
  • Support the preparation of monthly Accruals/Prepayments, Journals and Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support daily accounting transactions
  • Support the year end process as required
  • Liaise with the Operations Finance Team and the Financial Reporting Team
  • Reporting on specific accounting related KPIs, metrics and SLA adherence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support system and process improvements for the month end close cycle

Your skills and background:

  • Part Qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA Accreditation
  • Experience working in a busy finance department
  • Experience in Microsoft Applications
