About the Job

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:

  • Process sales and purchase transactions accurately
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve queries
  • Support order processing and customer invoicing
  • Maintain financial records and match invoices to delivery notes
  • Assist with payroll and provide cover when required
  • Support purchase requisitions and supplier queries
  • Assist with Intrastat, reconciliations, and month-end tasks

Previous experience:

  • Previous experience working in a busy office environment
  • Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience Using Sage (Desirable)
