About the Job
Reporting to the Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the companies accounts function.
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- On-site audit work
- Bookkeeping
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Supporting senior team members with client queries and ad hoc assignments
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain records and provide basic advice
Skills and Experience
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Proven experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of IRIS, TaxCalc, or similar practice software
