About the Company

This is an SME manufacturing business looking for a Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function. You'll have real autonomy and a direct line to the Managing Director as part of the senior management team. You'll be close to the numbers day-to-day, management accounts, cash flow, costing, and the operational finance detail that comes with a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Balance sheet control and reconciliations
  • Month-end close processes
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • ERP and finance systems experience
  • Board and stakeholder reporting
  • Manufacturing sector experience
  • Ability to operate independently and add value immediately
  • Previous interim or short-term assignment experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Leadership Skills
  • Strong IT Skills - Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
