About the Job
Working as part of the finance team, the Finance Administrator will support key finance activities and assist with the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations while gaining exposure to month-end processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with processing purchase invoices and matching GRNs/POs
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Resolve supplier queries
- Assist with payment runs
- Prepare prepayments and accrual schedules
- Assist with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end journal preparations
- Maintain accurate records of credit card spend and complete necessary reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Serve as a point of contact for finance-related queries
- Support wider finance tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Adhoc duties as and when required
Previous experience:
- Qualified Accounting Technician, IATI, AAT or working towards qualification
- Relevant experience working in a busy Finance department
- Strong Excel Skills
- Computer literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
