About the Job
Reporting to the Branch Area Manager, the Cashier / Administrator will support the day-to-day operation by providing excellent member service, processing financial transactions and assisting with branch administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:
- Deliver exceptional member service across face-to-face, telephone and online channels
- Process member transactions including lodgements, withdrawals, transfers, account openings and account reactivations
- Issue member loans and ensure all lending conditions have been satisfied
- Handle and resolve member queries efficiently and professionally
- Accurately handle cash and complete daily balancing and reconciliations
- Prepare end-of-day banking procedures and lodgements for Cash In Transit collection
- Update and maintain member records to ensure database accuracy
- Support branch administration and operational activities
- Work flexibly across multiple branch locations as required
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives
