Duties:
- The Accounts Technician will play an integral role within the accounts function, responsible for completing and assisting with:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
- Data analysis, reconciliations and other general accounting tasks
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc)
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients
- Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks
- Communicating directly with clients and addressing queries in a professional manner
Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- Accounts Technician with at least 1 year relevant experience
- Strong excel skills
- A good team player with strong professional work ethic
