About the Company

Our client is a world leader in technology, with over 3,000 professionals across 96 countries. Due to ongoing business growth, they are seeking an experienced Purchase to Pay Team Lead to join their Finance team in Belfast.

About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Purchase to Pay, the P2P Team Lead will oversee a team of Accounts Payable Administrators within a fast-paced Shared Service Centre environment. The successful candidate will manage the full P2P function ensuring supplier payments, reconciliations, and service delivery KPIs are achieved while driving process improvements and transformation across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Purchase to Pay team to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Monitor team performance, conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and provide coaching and support
  • Act as first point of escalation for supplier queries and payment issues
  • Oversee weekly payment runs, cash book postings, and supplier reconciliations
  • Collaborate with finance teams on bank reconciliations and audit support
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management
  • Drive process improvement and standardisation across global operations
  • Support the Head of P2P with continuous improvement and transformation projects
  • Uphold HR policies and foster a positive, inclusive team culture

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive Accounts Payable experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Proven ability to manage a team of 4 people in a high-volume finance environment
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and system optimisation
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in a Shared Services Centre environment advantageous
  • Familiarity with banking platforms desirable
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths, Grade C or above)
