A growing SME business based in the Ballymena area are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to oversee their busy finance function, managing a small finance team and reporting directly to the MD. Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Preparation of budgets/forecasts
- Providing financial insights to aid strategic decision making
- Tax compliance
- Overseeing a small team
- Managing relationships with key external stakeholders
- Business partnering with commercial teams
- Systems/process improvement
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills
