Financial Reporting & Analysis: Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Assist with data gathering and analysis for our sustainability reporting Treasury & Payables Management: Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations. Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payment runs. Manage the company's employee expenses policy and claims, ensuring adherence and timely processing. Participation in monthly team meetings and preparation of power point presentations. Compliance & Statutory Returns: Preparation of UK and ROI VAT returns. Review and submit Intrastat / EC Sales returns. Assist with the preparation of statutory year-end financial statements and support audit processes, liaising with external auditors. Asset & Intercompany Management: Manage the company's Fixed Assets Register. Ensure all intercompany recharges are processed accurately and on time. Operational Support & Improvement: Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting function, liaising effectively with other finance sub-departments. Provide cover and support to Accounts Receivable teams during holiday periods or peak times. Participate in projects designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance function. Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required to support the Finance department and wider business operations. Be prepared to travel to and between sites as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the post and meet project deadlines. Ensure a flexible approach to working hours to fulfil the requirements of the post and meet project deadlines Skills and Experience Part qualified Accountant studying with either CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent Ability to prioritise and multi-task, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to use own initiative and demonstrate a high level of organisational skill. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial people.
