Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be part of a busy Finance team, This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports as required. Maintain the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month-end. Prepare and execute the month-end payment run. Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and related work. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments. Review and manage month-end overheads. Prepare VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland. Assist in the preparation of reports for the year-end audit.
