HireIQ are exclusively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a large and well-established company based in Armagh on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a busy finance department and take the next step in your career.
About the company: A large company with a local influence, this business has seen continued success throughout COVID. There is a well-established finance department and structure in place to support the new candidate in their new position.
About the job: Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties:
- Processing of customer invoices and receipts to the Sales Ledger
- Processing invoices to other Group companies and agreeing month-end balances
- Timely and effective collection of all debts
- Perform reconciliation of all debtor balances and create aged debt reports
- Respond to and resolve internal/external customer enquiries in relation to debt
- Processing of purchase invoices and payments
- Analysis and posting of employee expenses
- Liaising with heads of departments and external suppliers
- Assist in the production of weekly and monthly reports
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit files for the company
Your skills & experience:
- Experience of working in an administration role (Essential)
- Experience working in a finance admin/accounts assistant position (Desirable)
- Currently studying toward IATI or equivalent (Desirable and full study support can be provided)
- Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
