Transactional Processing & Reconciliations Process purchase invoices and code to the correct brand, entity, and cost centre Process employee expense claims; support sales ledger administration and customer payment matching Post routine journals under the review of the Management Accountant Perform day-to-day bank reconciliations across brand accounts, and reconcile petty cash and expense cards Support reconciliation of payment gateways (Shopify, Clearpay, Klarna, Paypal), investigating and flagging discrepancies Month-End & Systems Support Support the Management Accountant with month-end close tasks, including accrual and prepayment schedules and inventory data entry Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Xero / ERP systems and e-commerce integrations (e.g. A2X) Maintain organised supporting documentation and audit trail for all postings Assist in maintaining supplier records and fixed asset registers Ad Hoc Support Support VAT return preparation (data gathering and checks) Assist with TSS (Trader Support Service) declarations and administration for cross-border goods movements Assist with audit preparation by pulling and organising supporting documentation Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team as required Skills and Experience Experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounts administration role Studying towards, or considering studying towards, AAT / ACCA / CIMA (not required) Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems is an advantage Comfortable working with high volumes of transactional data Exposure to e-commerce, retail, or consumer businesses is a bonus, not required For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ryan Wharry at HireIQ in complete confidence.
