About the Job
Reporting to the Senior Company Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties
Key responsibilities
- Maintaining a computerised accounting system for a number of group companies
- Processing and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Completing intercompany account reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs and supplier queries
- Support with preparing management accounts and year-end accounts
- Preparing project costings
- Undertaking general administrative and accounts support tasks as required
Previous experience
- Previous experience working in a busy office environment
- Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Experience Using Sage – Desirable
- Microsoft Excel
