Position: Accounts Administrator Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to become a key member of our dynamic finance team in Newtownards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a collaborative spirit to support our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide precise administrative assistance to the finance team, focusing on both purchase and sales ledgers. Ensure timely reconciliation and processing of payments using computer-based financial systems. Prepare and deliver financial data and reports to the Management Accountant and Team Leader. Oversee reconciliations for company distribution centers, investigating discrepancies as needed. Manage supplier payment processes and handle general accounting administration, including reception coverage when required. Maintain organized records through general accounts filing and assist with ad hoc duties as needed. Requirements: Proven experience in a fast-paced finance or accounting environment. Familiarity with accounting software and a strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of financial systems and processes. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. High level of accuracy and analytical thinking. Experience with IT programs, including accounting software (Sage 50 and Sage 200 preferred). Problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a team setting. An accounting qualification or active progression toward one is advantageous.
