Hirehoot is supporting a fast‑scaling tech company in hiring a Head of Product Marketing / Positioning Lead, a critical role shaping how the company is understood by customers, the market, and internally. This is a true “connective tissue” role across Product, Marketing, and Sales — owning ICP strategy, positioning, category narrative, and product launches end-to‑end.
What you’ll own:
- Define and evolve core ICPs across Prosumer, Commercial, and Enterprise segments
- Run primary research (user interviews, surveys, data analysis) and turn insight into action
- Build and operationalise Jobs-to-be-Done (J TBD) framework
- Maintain a live, company-wide source of truth for customer insights
- Own brand and product positioning across all audiences
- Build messaging architecture: value propositions, narratives, objection handling
- Define and shape the category narrative — whether claiming, reframing, or creating
- Lead end-to-end product and feature launches (strategy, messaging, and execution)
- Align closely with Product on roadmap, positioning, and feature development
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality communication across all GTM channels
- Feed positioning into campaigns, paid media, and lifecycle marketing
- Partner with Growth and CS on adoption strategies and a user engagement framework
- Build scalable internal comms so every team is aligned and launch‑ready
- Own competitive intelligence and market analysis across the category
- Translate market signals into strategic decisions (GTM, product, positioning)
- Lead pricing strategy based on value perception, willingness to pay, and market dynamics
Who you are:
- 8+ years in Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, or similar roles in tech/SaaS
- Strong track record building ICP frameworks, messaging, and positioning that drive growth
- Experienced in leading product launches end-to‑end
- Deep understanding of customer research and insight‑driven strategy
- Comfortable owning pricing strategy and value position
- Exceptional communicator — clear, concise, and impactful
- Highly collaborative across Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing
- Confident in presenting to leadership and influencing without authority
