Position: Growth Director

Who you are

Previously known as Vance, Aspora offers cross-border financial services for communities, with a focus on the Indian diaspora living outside their home countries. With 250,000 non-resident Indian (NRI) users, the startup has expanded to several countries.

What the job involves

  1. Lifecycle Strategy: Map activation, engagement, and expansion triggers; focus on removing friction and enhancing user delight.
  2. Growth Analytics & Instrumentation: Establish tracking, define key metrics (LTV, CAC, NRR, payback), and surface insights daily.
  3. Experimentation Program: Run rapid A/B tests on copy, UX, pricing, and incentives.
  4. Retention & Reactivation Loops: Deploy nudges, rewards, and personalized messaging to increase CLTV.
  5. Monetisation & Upsell: Collaborate with Product on value-based pricing, bundles, and cross-sell strategies.
  6. Channel Portfolio: Manage paid, organic, referral, and partnership channels; reallocate budget to optimize efficiency.
  7. Growth Operations & Automation: Build pipelines, ETLs, and playbooks for scaling across products and geographies.
  8. Team & Culture: Recruit and mentor analysts, PMs, and marketers focusing on cohort analysis and achieving double-digit lifts.

Additional Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or revenue roles in high-growth tech, fintech, or subscription B2C sectors.
  • Fluency in data analysis; proficiency in SQL and Looker/Amplitude.
  • Proven success in turning insights into scalable playbooks across markets or products.
  • Track record of simultaneously reducing CAC and increasing LTV.
  • Deep understanding of attribution, marketing mix modeling, and experimentation design.
  • Proactive operator who prefers shipping initial versions over endless debates.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating data into actionable plans for diverse stakeholders.
