The role supports Capital Markets clients by building backend applications that power FX trading and related financial systems.
Задачи:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
- Develop and thoroughly test secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and tools such as Postman
- Integrate and manage databases using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate ORM for FX trading systems
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver software solutions
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and scalability
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Java development and Capital Markets
Требования:
- Proven experience building robust, scalable server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate ORM for database integration
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, version control, and agile methodologies
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Условия:
- £400 Per day (Inside IR35)
- £308.33 Daily ACR, plus £37.21 daily holiday pay
- Equivalent annual salary: £80,164.68 (including holiday paid upfront)
- Six-month engagement, starting in September / October and ending after six months
- London; 3 days at the client location and 2 days working from home
