Задачи:
- Build and run a scalable, secure analytics platform
- Own the Snowflake warehouse and dbt project, including data models, engineering standards, and cost, in collaboration with the Lead Analytics Engineer
- Manage data quality and reliability through testing, monitoring, alerting, and responses to incorrect or delayed data
- Track platform cost per charger and build processes to identify and remove waste
- Develop the warehouse as a product for analysts, business users, and AI tooling
- Build well-modelled, tested, and documented dbt assets
- Monitor spend, freshness, and tests to identify issues before they affect downstream users
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards
- Develop routines, agents, and workflows that automate repetitive analytics engineering tasks
- Support analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders with clear, useful answers about the warehouse
- Shape the analytics platform’s architecture alongside the Lead Analytics Engineer
Требования:
- Strong SQL skills and solid knowledge of dimensional modelling, including star schemas, facts and dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions
- Hands-on Snowflake experience, including RBAC, column-level security, dynamic data masking, and SSO or identity provider integration
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Familiarity with LookML, Omni, the dbt Semantic Layer, or similar
- Able to connect technical choices to business outcomes and make trade-offs between cost, freshness, correctness, and speed
- Able to communicate precisely with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to turn loosely defined problems into plans and sequence the work
- Gives and receives feedback constructively and maintains high engineering standards
- Takes ownership of investigating and preventing issues
