HireGiant Ltd are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. This is for a local haulage company, which is well known in the haulage and storage sector. As the driver, you will need to complete deliveries of their goods to clients across the UK. There is a strong possibility for the Class 2 Driver to be placed on long-term hire should they perform well without any incidents, lateness, and repeated infringements.
The Role:
The Class 2 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday; there is optional weekend work for those who want it. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 1 or 2 deliveries, followed by a collection of goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. HGV Class 2 experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with HGV2 Driver experience. You must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.
