The Role:
HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professionalClass 1 Driverto work with our client based in Daventry, this will consist of doing 1 trunk per night to Thurrock.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
Completingdeliveries to businesses
Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
no handball, this is a nice haulage role
Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements for the Class 1 driver: ValidHGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Strapping and Reversing competence
New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver: Start times between 21.00pm/ 8-10 hours work.
PAYEPay rate:£18.50 - £19.00 per hour
