HireGiant are currently looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the team in Warmley, Bristol. You will be working for a family run business who have been established for over 130 years, one of Bristol's leading suppliers in the Southwest.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 17:00. A typical day involves loading and unloading vehicles, which could be by hand or using the Counterbalance Forklift truck, so you need to be prepared to do either. You will also be required to complete general yard duties, prepare customer orders, assist with stock control, while keeping the yard tidy and safe. Some heavy lifting can be involved, and you will also need a good understanding of health and safety.

This is a great opportunity for a permanent position working with an excellent company.

Hours and Pay

Working Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 17:00. Pay is £13.50 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience driving a Counterbalance Forklift.
  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is required, or recent refresher.
  • Able to complete heavy lifting when required.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Safety boots and high visibility clothing.
  • An understanding of health and safety.
Desirable Requirements (but not essential)
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience working in construction or with building materials.
  • Experience using power tools, saws or woodworking.
