Excellent opportunity for a Parts and Warehouse Assistant based in Bearley. We are looking for someone with a background in vehicle parts to work as a Parts and Warehouse Assistant. Immediate start. Permanent job. Outstanding company with great benefits and an easy online application.
The role is varied with opportunities to learn and progress, especially for someone with knowledge of vehicle parts or experience in the parts industry. You must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence, previous experience and a Parts Sales background. The role typically starts at 8:00 am and finishes around 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities- Liaise with supplies and manufacturers, identify parts within a parts manual, pick and pack orders.
- Gain stock knowledge and conduct stock takes.
- Work in the office and warehouse, with occasional duties in the Yard.
- Undertake various projects to achieve stock and location accuracy.
- Regularly update the Parts and Warehouse Supervisor on progress and objectives.
- Oversee goods in, unloading, checking, and system receipting.
- Assist with lifting and carrying as required.
- Previous Forklift and Warehouse experience (2 years preferred).
- A valid Forklift Counterbalance licence is required.
- Able to perform heavy lifting when required.
- Positive attitude.
- Safety boots and high visibility clothing.
- Understanding of health and safety principles.
Salary: £29,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience). Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
