Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity in Avonmouth, Bristol for a Stock Controller to Join a great team of friendly staff with lots of training and opportunity to progress.

Hours and Pay

  • 28,000 to £30,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
  • Overtime after 40 hours, paid at time and a half.
  • Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday.
  • Start/finish times can be flexible! You will need to work 40 hours per week between 07:00 to 18:00.

As a Stock Controller your role will involve:

  • Perform regular stock checks in the warehouse when required.
  • Complete a 100% stock check at least once a year.
  • Ensure that any stock coming back into the warehouse is located correctly.
  • Notify the correct people if there is a stock level issue.
  • Continuously develop space to suit the growing demand /storage requirement.
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely.
  • Assist Group warehouse manager with other projects around the group with possible overnight stays, with sufficient notice.
  • Improve & implement processes.
  • When necessary assist warehouse with day to day responsibilities, including driving a Counterbalance Forklift.

Requirements

  • Previous Forklift driving experience.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Good level of customer service.
